From a German New Medicine (GNM) perspective, suicide attempts are not random, they are understood as a biological constellation phenomenon that can occur during the resolution phase of deep sexual or territorial loss conflicts, particularly in left-handed males and right-handed females. But the right-handed males and left-handed females are not completely in the clear.
This post is meant to raise awareness and caution during conflict resolution phases.
Handedness, Hemisphere, and Conflict Mapping
In GNM, handedness determines which brain hemisphere first receives a conflict shock for the cortical conflicts:
• Left hemisphere = depressive, inward, emotional, “feeling” side
• Right hemisphere = motivating, manic, outward-driven, “doing” side
The left hemisphere is considered the more dangerous side, because when it dominates while the right side is resolving depression, the person may have energy + impulse without emotional grounding.
Important: When a conflict hits on the left side (depressive side), it closes the the left (depressive) hemisphere, and opens up the right (“manic”) hemisphere, and they become erratic/motivated/” manic”
Left-Handed Male Vulnerability
Left-handed male + territorial loss conflicts
1. First conflict
- Hits the left hemisphere
- Manic, driven, agitated state
2. Second similar conflict
- Hits the right hemisphere
- Depression
The only exemption for the territorial loss or sexual conflicts, the 3rd territorial loss or sexual conflict would go to the hemisphere that experienced the conflict that was closest in nature.
Common example: Let's say for a left-handed male his first disciplining, which is always the case with the first territorial conflict will become the place where any conflict where he feels dominated by someone will go to. If the conflict was about someone leaving his territory, then it would go to the hemisphere that experience the second conflict.
Now when he experiences a second conflict of say a female walks out on him on the right hemisphere, he will experience a constellation.
He will carry a post mortal desire: “I should die”, “what will happen to my things after I die”
The Most Dangerous Moment: Feeling Better
Then he meets another girl where he feels better about himself.
Critical danger point
When the right hemisphere depression begins to resolve, the depression lifts.
He becomes “manic” again.
Within 2–6 weeks after resolution, the individual may commit suicide.
Why?
- Enter a trance-like (post-mortal) state; the EC is a short-lived repetition of the conflict active phase. As the depression is lifting from the right side, he will experience the “Manic” state, again. This trance-like state is out of his control.
- Experience impulsive suicidal urges
- Appear suddenly “better” before the attempt
This is not improvement, it is a high-risk biological window.
Right-Handed Female Vulnerability
Right-handed female + sexual conflicts
1. First sexual conflict
- Left hemisphere
2. Second sexual conflict
- Right hemisphere
Common example:
- She experiences a lifelong conflict of sexual molestation on the right hemisphere as her first sexual conflict.
- Her Second sexual conflict in teenage years where she is rejected, or a betrayal lands on to the left hemisphere.
She may carry:
- A post-mortal desire (“I should die”, “what will happen to my things after I die”)
- Chronic depression on the right hemisphere
The Most Dangerous Moment: Feeling Better
When she:
- Enters a new relationship
- Feels validated or desired again
- Experiences relief or emotional improvement
Within 2–6 weeks, she may attempt suicide.
Why?
- The right hemisphere depression lifts. The EC is a short-lived repetition of the conflict active phase. As the depression is lifting from the right side, she will experience the agitation again.
- The left hemisphere conflicts remain active
- At the epileptoid crisis (EC) spike, she may drop back into a post-mortal trance.
This trance-like state is out of her control.
This is when attempted suicide can occur.
Key GNM Rule About Suicide Attempts
Attempted suicide occurs ONLY when:
- Depression is lifting from the right hemisphere
- AND the conflict weight is mostly on the left hemisphere
This is why:
- Severely depressed people are often not suicidal
- Suicide attempts happen when energy returns
Antidepressants: GNM Caution
From a GNM lens:
- Antidepressants may alleviate right-hemisphere depression
- This opens the manic/motivating left side
- Giving the “push” needed to act on suicidal impulses
Stopping medication too quickly can also cause a rebound effect:
- The person must feel the same or better
- If worse, tapering may be too fast
Important Distinction
- Right-handed women & left-handed men
= Higher vulnerability during resolution
- Left-handed women & right-handed men
= Different biological dynamics (not covered here)
Final Note
From a GNM perspective, suicide attempts are biological emergency signals during healing, not failures or moral choices.
This knowledge is meant to increase vigilance, slow resolution, and provide support during these critical windows.
If you or someone you know is in a conflict resolution phase and experiencing suicidal thoughts, professional medical and psychological support is essential. This information is educational and not a substitute for care.
Understanding the timing can save lives.
